An original hand-painted work by Marc Andre, executed on an authentic Timberland 6-Inch Premium Boot in the classic wheat nubuck — the "butters." Not a print. Not a production run. A single pair, painted by hand, signed M.A. at the tongue.

Enfants Inconnus — "unknown children" — carries across every panel of the boot. Faces render in thick black, cobalt, oxblood and bone white: wide eyes, bared teeth, mouths caught mid-sentence. The title runs the length of both boots in raw brushed lettering, wrapping the heel counters and the padded collars. Toe boxes, quarter panels, tongues, and collars are all worked. Timberland's tree logo and gold hardware are left exposed, so the original boot reads underneath the paint rather than disappearing beneath it.

CONDITION

Like new — lightly worn, no box. Uppers, soles and hardware are in excellent shape. Paint is fully cured and stable. Any slight variation in brushwork between the left and right boot is intentional and inherent to a hand-painted one-of-one; no two panels were meant to match.

CARE

Spot clean only with a dry or barely damp cloth. Do not machine wash, submerge, or steam. Keep away from prolonged direct sun and harsh solvents. Do not apply suede cleaner, saddle soap, or protectant spray over the painted areas. Store indoors, away from heat. Treat the painted surfaces as you would a canvas — with wear, natural flexing and creasing at the vamp will develop over time. That patina is part of the piece.
